Scarlet is a beautiful girl but took a back seat to the ring while her sister Leigh and brother Brooks were showing.  Though she has several points and a Best of Breed over specials, we never pushed her in the ring.  She spends most of her time lounging around the house and looking beautiful.  She has produced 2 litters by "Chief" - BIF, SBIS, BIS Ch. Tivio's Chiricahua FCh - resulting in 3 puppies.  From her first litter, a singleton, we had Charlize who stayed at Shannon Down and will be an important part of our breeding program and has already produced her first litter of puppies who are maturing beautifully.  Her second litter she had 2 beautiful puppies.  Scarlet's last litter was sired by the handsome and versatile "Bowie" - MBIF DC Snow Hill Indecent Proposal MC, LCX-2, LCM.  We got 3 beautiful children from her out of this litter and we are excited to see what they can do in the show ring and on the coursing field.  Scarlet is now spayed since having her last litter and will remain at Shannon Down - spending her days sleeping on the couch and her nights sleeping under the covers in bed.
