Leigh is everything we could have asked for.  She is our first home bred Champion and has exceeded all our expectations.  She is a Multiple Group Placer and was a Top 20 Contender in 2004 having only started her specials career in June and having a litter in October.  Not bad, finishing the year in the Top 20 with such little time to compete!  She also qualified for Eukanuba two years in a row.  She absolutely loves to show and would rather be in the ring then anywhere else.  Her first litter of 3 has produced our first Dual Champion, who also finished 2007 as the AKC Lure Coursing #1 Dual Champion, #2 Whippet and #2 Sighthound.  The other two in the litter are major pointed in the show ring and will be seeing more of the ring this year.  She had her second litter, of 9, late 2006 and there are a few doing well in the show ring and on the coursing field as well as one of her sons who already has his RE and NAJ titles and a daughter with her CGC and TDI titles!  Her last litter of 8 is maturing nicely with one son major pointed in the American show ring and another who's almost completed his Canadian Championship.  Leigh is now spayed since having her last litter and spends her time at home watching over her kingdom and making sure everyone knows who's boss.  Her personality has not faded with age and she is just as spunky now at 8 as she was when she was 2 and still keeps every single dog in the house in line, as well as her humans too.  She knows who is queen and demands that she needs to eat human food so will beg some off of everyone.  Don't leave your coffee laying around either, or it will be gone in the blink of an eye!
